Steven Jones
Republican Candidate for Honey Brook Township Supervisor
in November
Low Taxes and responsible budgeting are the hallmark of good governance. I fulfilled this promise as a Board of Director member for Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and will continue as your next Township Supervisor.
I do not support the additional cost and increase in the size of our local government.
I opposed this referendum in 2023 and refuse to have more people tell you how to live.
As a member of the Land Preservation Committee, I will ensure our continued values of open space and respect for the environment.
I intend to utilize my 30 years of public safety experience, including EMS, Fire Service, Corrections, Emergency Management & Law Enforcement to lead my dedication as Twp Supervisor.
On this eve of election day, I look back on the past couple of weeks with mixed emotions. I was asked last fall to think about continuing to serve my community as Township Supervisor. I sat in quiet prayer and chatted with my family for many months before agreeing to run for this position. I have met a massive amount of great people, made new friends and reconnected with people from years past. Service before self has been a motto I have lived my entire adult life, and this will continue for decades to come.
I look forward to representing our entire community and keeping Honey Brook Township the awesome and amazing place, which I have enjoyed for over 15 years with my family. From our great rec & park facilities and programs, our land preservation efforts which provide the tranquil life of open space and beautiful farms, to our community’s volunteers. Volunteers who respond to our calls for medical, fire & rescue assistance, volunteers who pick up roadside trash on a Saturday morning, volunteers who work on community celebrations like Harmony Day, and those who serve on our Township committees and boards.
No matter where the election takes us tomorrow, we must all live here and coexist in our community. So, I would ask that whoever earns the votes for the Republican ticket in November tomorrow bring our community together bright and early Wednesday morning. If I am that choice, Wednesday will start with solutions, rather than complaints. Residents will be asked to be part of the solution, rather than a “Thank you for your comments” at meetings. Residents will be invited to actively participate in our various programs, committees and commissions. Residents will be asked to be the change they wish to see, and in exchange, I will be the change serving on their behalf for them.
If you agree, please share this message with your friends and neighbors and thanks for your support.

As a 16-year resident of Honey Brook Township, nearly 30-year first responder in Chester County and military veteran, I look to utilize my experience, education and knowledge to represent the citizens of my community through collective governance and listening to the concerns of my fellow neighbors.

My family and I have lived in Honey Brook Township since 2009, and I bring 30 years of First Responder experience into my roles serving the community. Over 20 years of this experience has been as a police officer here in Chester County and I currently serve as our Township's Emergency Management Coordinator and member of the Land Preservation Committee. I also bring this experience to my role as a prior member of Elverson-Honey Brook EMS and their Board of Directors. I first served as an employee/Emergency Medical Technician and then as a board member for over 11 years. My vision and experience expanded EHBEMS' ambulance membership program and community outreach, including the annual Christmas Toy Drive benefiting families within Honey Brook Township since 2020.
Legislatively, I worked tirelessly with Honey Brook Township representatives in 2017 & 2018 to secure a sustainable funding model for Elverson-Honey Brook EMS. I am also an active member of the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police, a FOP legislative committeeperson and a graduate of Rosemont College and Penn State University. Utilizing this experience, my commitment means preserving our traditions, community-based solutions and keeping Honey Brook Amazing.
My wife and I have two children and their participation in community events have inspired us to help coach Little League baseball and softball at Umble Park, volunteer at youth football games and cheer at youth field hockey games. Our son is preparing for his freshman year at Penn State this fall, and our daughter is a student at TVMS. We are also active in religious education at our local church and the girls are enthusiastically involved in their local Girl Scout Troop. As my family matures, I want to ensure the same great experiences for current and future friends and families right here in Honey Brook Township.
As a member of Honey Brook Township's Land Preservation Committee, I am committed to preserving our community and the way of life so many of our friends and neighbors have embraced.
Properly funding and advertising the program is the most influential way citizens of our community can influence how OUR community looks.

As our Township's Emergency Management Coordinator, planning and preparation are integral to providing a safe community. Conducting drills and participating in hours of state and federal training programs permits our Township to ensure preparation for any emergencies that might take place. I also work with members of our local emergency services, including the Honey Brook Fire Company and Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS.
With 20+ years as a police officer in Chester County, I am the only candidate endorsed by the Chester County FOP with the knowledge and experience to lead discussions in the formation/partnership of law enforcement services
within Honey Brook Township.
My experience is backed up with the knowledge and education of a
BS in Criminal Justice from Rosemont College and a
Master's degree in Public Administration from Penn State University.
As a board member of Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS in the early 2020s, I worked with our local Girl Scout Troop and collected over 1,000 pounds of food from the community which was donated to the Honey Brook Food Pantry.
As a board member of Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS in 2020, I created, with the assistance of our entire organization, the annual Christmas Toy Drive with our partners at Anchored Ministries. This first year, over 150 friends and neighbors responded and donated over 700 toys for 300 families in need in our community, including Honey Brook Township.
This tradition entered its 5th year in 2024 and is going strong.
